 Postcard showing mouth of Miri river, and the tip of Pulau Melayu peninsular. Back then, there was a Melanau Village there. Because of some problem, mostly of natural disaster, strong wind and big waves, all the village move deeper into the peninsular which can be found today behind the golf course. - Postcard photo by Mr. Roger Birch.
