 Jalan Masjid bus Station,once this place become a major hub of transportation.Since hundred years ago,when the train station was here,then lot of Bus Company stationed not only here but nearby Saujana and Open Air Market.But now,the bus company are declining,with less destination for some buses.

Hydrogen bus, a new method of public transportation in Kuching,a clean and renewable energy and make Kuching the first city in South East Asia using it.There a few routes becoming the starter route and will expand to all part of Kuching in near future

Sarawak Locomotives

In Sarawak Locomotives history,there was three steam engines named Bulan, Bintang and Jean, powered by coal from the Sadong colliery, served the route and that the rail service carried passengers, goods and livestock.

It said Sir Charles Brooke, Sarawak’s second Rajah, set up the Sarawak Government Railway Line which opened on April 9, 1916.

The first phase of the track, which was completed in early 1915, connected the Kuching Railway Terminus to the Third Mile Bazaar, crossing Green Road and going along what used to be called Jalan Keretapi (now part of Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce).

By the end of 1915, according to SHS, the line had been extended to the Seventh Mile Bazaar (now Kota Sentosa) and by mid-1916 to the 10th Mile Bazaar (Kota Padawan).

A trip from Kuching to 10th Mile took 35 minutes and the service was available five times a day, with a passenger fare of 20 cents.

General Post Office Kuching used to be a bus stop.People waiting for bus here,drop in or drop off the bus.This place is busy daily when people going to work,back to work or during noon time when student wait their bus here.This place stop become a bus stop since end or middle of 2000's.

The ferry of Batu Kitang

The Vehicular ferry crossing the Sarawak River at Batu Kitang on the road from Kuching to Bau in the first Division=Circa 190's. The ferry stop their service in 1970's whan a bridge build nearby this area.

The Mosquito Bus in Kuching

The Mosquito Bus plying from Kuching town to Matang with seating capacity for 6 passengers.At first the passengers were allowed to remained in the bus when it crossed the suspension bridge.Later,passengers were asked to get off the bus,walk across the bridge and get on the bus when the bus has crossed the bridge to continue their journey.Eventually bus were prohibited from crossing the bridge. - Circa 1960's

Chin Lian Long Bus Company

Chin Lian Long Bus Company , one of earliest bus company in Kuching.Served from Satok to Bintawa.From Jambatan Tun Abdul Rahman to end of Bintawa,Marine Police Base.

Well known for the blue stripe image,in end of 2000's,Chin Lian Long and other bus Company merged into new Company with other name and new bus.
