Kuching electricity station @ Kuching Power station at Jalan Power


 Kuching electricity station @ Kuching Power station at Jalan Power across the Old Fire Station.The power station build in 1920's replacing the old Government Sawmill.Years later,this power station demolished and new building erected here,name Electra House in 1965.The electra word came from term Electric which was given credit to the old building stand there before.

The estuary in Miri around the middle 1990's


 The estuary in Miri around the mid-1990's, the Jetty in Malay Island is still there, only a few years later the Jetty was demolished and there is a new Miri estuary established nearby there. This scene remains as a memory now,because the area has been dug up and the latest development has established there.

Kuching town view in 1969


 Kuching town view in 1969,there are some different view compare to current view.In the area near Fort Magherita, in this era there is a Police Barrack which is the "Pasukan Polis Hutan Barrack" which later became known as PGA. There is also a primary school nearby which is SRK Gersik. The police barrack was moved around the mid 2000's to Batu Kawa where the nearby area has now been built the new Dewan Undangan Negeri.

The new cathedral of St.Thomas Kuching


 The new cathedral of St.Thomas ,Kuching consecrated in June 1956,and by its side the Old Cathedral consecrated in 1851.The Old Cathedral demolished and the wood taken to other area for construction of new church.Now the area has become Jalan Wawasan,road from Wayang Street.

Fort Magherita at North Sarawak river


 One of Kuching's most notable sights is the building commanding an excellent position on the northern bank of the Sarawak river,Fort Magherita  named for the wife of Rajah Charles Brooke,has many details from the English Renaissance style and comes with battlement tops.
