This penambang is near to Ang Cheng Ho Jetty in Jalan Ang Cheng Ho, Padungan. This jetty is Kampung Semarang and Kampung Pulo Ulu. There is also a jetty in the Tukang Besi area nearby, but it has been closed as the area has developed new apartments.
The shape of the penambang in the ulu area(Pengkalan Batu,Pengkalan Boyan and Kampung nearby) is different from the penambang at Kampung Sourabaya and downstream.
