This Mermaid Statue is located In Sebuyau.Sebuyau is a small town located border of Sri Aman and Simunjan.This town known to the fresh Ikan Terubok.That's whay thereis also a statue of Ikan terubok nearby the Statue of the Mermaid.

As to the Mermaid Statue and rhino statue,i don't have any source of story to connect both Statue to Sebuyau .Maybe once upon a time there was rhino nearby and mermaid swimming with Terubok there.
