A Penambang paddles his boat from Pengkalan Batu (behind) to Pengkalan Sapi. This picture was taken in the middle1980's. The scenery around Pangkalan Batu and Pangkalan Sapi at that time was different from the scene today.
Now Pengkalan Batu is part of the Kuching Waterfront, while Pengkalan Sapi is the area of the new Sarawak State Legislative Assembly.
