Masjid Kampung Dagang at Miri
Masjid Kampung Dagang at nearby Kampung Dagang and Jalan Bendahara.This Mosque demolished in 1960's and replace with the Mosque (now across Mega Mall hotel).The Kampung Dagang was emptied and moved in 1980's.Now we can only see shophouses there and no trademark left for the Mosque.This photo taken at 1950's.

Contractors were seen paving a temporary rocky road at Jalan P.Ramlee.
The project which started from August 2018 also caused traffic problems to several main road branches which include Lebuh Java, Jalan Market, Jalan Gertak, Jalan Masjid and Jalan Barrack in Padang Merdeka.

Shop at Gambier Street,located opposite Taxi Stand and nearby to Pengkalan Panjang.In 1990's and before,the Pengkalan Panjang not only connected to Kampung across the river,but connecting to Samariang,Santubong,Buntal and Bako.After the bridges and road are ready,the express ship close their activity and the Pengkalan Panjang only related to Kampung across the river.
Shop here only sell fruit like oranges,watermelon and others,Here you can see Pertama Complex or the "bunka" building.

The declaration of Sarawak as a state in Malaysia
The Independent of Sarawak and part of Malaysia.Inche Mohamad Khir Johari, representative of Central Government read the Malaysian Proclamation.The federation flag was raised and the national anthem"Negaraku" was played.
The declaration of Sarawak Independence as a state within Malaysia was read by the Sarawak Chief Minister,Mr.Stephen Kalong Ningkan.after which the new state flag was hoisted and the state anthem played.
