Esplanade and Ladies Club building nearby Padang Central.Now this place becoming Part of Central Police Station and the other half is Plaza Merdeka.

Perahu penambang at Pengkalan panjang
Perahu penambang waiting for their customer at Pengkalan Panjang,This jetty is where the perahu penambang takes passengers to the jetty at Kampung Lintang and Sungai Bedil.
Around the 1990's and before, this jetty was not only a place for Perahu penambang but various ships stopped here, from express boats to Santubong, Samarahan, Bako and even to Sebuyau. There are also ships that deliver various goods here,ship came from all Sarawak.
