Medan Niaga Satok , now entering 2 and the half years..since early 2013. The area bigger,nice and clean but can never replace the old Satok Market Area.

Pusaka building located at Petra Jaya,Kuching.nearby to sarawak indoor and Stadium Negeri Sarawak. PUSAKA is acronym of Perbadanan Kemajuan Perusahaan Kayu Sarawak or in English - STIDC (Sarawak Timber Development Corporation ).

The Sri Aman Peace Agreement

Historical Photo shows the late tun Abdul rahman Yaakub ,former Chief minister and Governor of sarawak signing a peace agreement with Bong Chee Kok, leader of Communist Insurgent in Sarawak,the PARAKU ( Pasukan Rakyat Kalimantan Utara).
This Peace Agreement is Call " Perjanjian Sri Aman " was sign on 21 Ogos 1973 in Simanggang ,and by this agreement, Simanggang name change into Sri Aman and use until today.

Once was a one stop centre for people of different background , now demolished to the ground. Photo shows one part of Ceko , a cafe known with it's satey and Roti Bakar.  No traced just a blur memory remains.

Old Market in Kuching

This is Padang Pasir Market , photo taken sometimes in 1970's ,this Market then moved to Satok where it was known later as Satok Sunday Market.
